In 2016, Emily established Tutor Buddies with a vision of creating a supportive and engaging learning community where students thrive. Driven by a passion for helping students reach their full potential, she envisioned a place where learning is both effective and enjoyable. Through years of dedication, Emily has fostered a warm and encouraging environment, mentoring countless students and building strong connections with their families. Students value her consistent support, long-term commitment and extensive expertise, appreciating her guidance from the beginning of their senior high school journey all the way through graduation. Sophie is a NSW-accredited mathematics teacher with a First-Class Honours degree in Secondary Education from the University of Sydney. She is experienced in teaching Years 7–10 mathematics in public and independent schools, helping students develop confidence and strong problem-solving skills. Her teaching focuses on logical thinking, concept-based learning, and mind maps to make maths more structured and understandable. Chloe is a dedicated and qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Economics and Education (Secondary). She completed the HSC receiving a mark of 93/100 in English Advanced and 46/50 in English Extension 1. As a teacher, Chloe strives to be a responsive and supportive educator who can help students succeed at school and has prior experience tutoring students privately. She looks forward to imparting her skills and knowledge with her students while making learning an enjoyable and valuable experience.

Nelson is a dedicated, experienced tutor who graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Advanced Mathematics (Honours).He strives to tutor students beyond simply understanding concepts, but rather developing the skills in deep mathematical thinking and instilling the confidence for students to solve problems independently. Manav graduated from Trinity Grammar School with a high distinction IB score of 41, equivalent to an ATAR of 97.75, receiving the highest possible bands in Business Management, Sport Science and French. Post high school, he is set to pursue a Bachelor of Aviation (Flying) at the University of New South Wales. Outside of class, Manav dedicated significant time to supporting his community, volunteering in weekly community services, and also ran fundraisers for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. In addition to academic achievements, he holds a passion for golf and cricket. Having had a positive experience with weekly tuition throughout high school, Manav is dedicated to sharing his experiences and knowledge with students to ensure growth to ultimately achieve their best.

Advit graduated from Trinity Grammar School with an impressive IB score of 43/45, equivalent to an ATAR of 98.90, and is set to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (International) at UNSW. He excelled in subjects like Mathematics, French, Business, Geography, and Sports Science, earning the highest possible bands in each. Outside the classroom, Advit was deeply involved in his community, volunteering with the St Vincent de Paul Society and participating in activities such as chess club and debating. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies with his family and playing football, reflecting his balanced approach to life. Having gone through the challenges of the IB program and countless tuition classes himself, Advit is passionate about helping students learn and grow and is committed to using his experiences to support and inspire his students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
