TERMS & CONDITIONSFull Term Commitment: Payment is required to secure a full term of lessons. Tutor Buddies does not offer pro-rata refunds for early withdrawal during a term.
Notice Required: To be eligible for a make-up lesson (only available for 1:1 private lessons, at least 24 hours’ notice must be provided.Late Cancellations: If a student misses a lesson without 24 hours’ notice, the lesson is forfeited, and no make-up or credit will be issued. Special circumstances may be considered at the sole discretion of management.
Ceasing tuition: Two (2) weeks’ notice must be provided in writing to Tutor Buddies before the conclusion of the current school term.Make-up Validity: * Valid for the current term and the following holidays only.
Late Fees: Late payments will incur a $30 administration fee, and lessons may be suspended until the balance is cleared.
Safety & Staffing: All tutors at Tutor Buddies have undergone a selection process, including mandatory Working with Children Checks (WWCC) as per NSW legislation. Consistency: While we aim to provide a consistent tutor for every student, we reserve the right to change or substitute a tutor at short notice due to illness, resignation, or operational requirements. Activity Risk: Participation in tutoring sessions is at the student's own risk. Tutor Buddies is not liable for any personal injury arising from participation in sessions, games, or activities, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.Personal Property: Tutor Buddies is not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal belongings brought to the premises. Confidentiality: All personal information collected remains private and will only be used for administrative and educational purposes by Tutor Buddies staff. Information will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, except where required by law. Duty of Care: Tutor Buddies provides supervision only during the allocated lesson time. For the safety and security of persons, closed circuit television cameras are in use in the premises. Any person entering the premises consents to and authorises Parramatta Council to record or photograph you and to distribute video and images when required by an authorised officer or by law. All records are the sole property of Council;Only authorised and site inducted contractors and their staff are permitted to work on the premises. Enrolment in tuition with Tutor Buddies is conditional upon the acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By submitting an enrolment form, attending a scheduled lesson, or making a payment toward a tuition invoice, the student (and their parent/guardian where the student is under 18) agrees to be bound by all terms, policies, and conditions outlined in this document.

Founder - Tutor - Year 11 & 12 HSC Maths & English Subject Specialist - Bachelor of Health Science & Masters of Nursing
In 2016, Emily established Tutor Buddies with a vision of creating a supportive and engaging learning community where students thrive. Driven by a passion for helping students reach their full potential, she envisioned a place where learning is both effective and enjoyable. Through years of dedication, Emily has created a warm and encouraging environment, mentoring countless students and building strong connections with their families. Students value her consistent support, long-term commitment and extensive expertise, appreciating her guidance from the beginning of their senior high school journey all the way through graduation. In addition to maths and linguistic studies, she also loves travelling and being outdoors. WWCC certified
